The
Order of Perpetual Indulgence of the Great Southern Land (WA) invite all
members of OPI to come to Perth, Western Australia in October to celebrate
GLBTIQ Pride 2006. Registrations are now open. Download

The OPI’s main aim is to promote the interests of the GLBTIQ community. The Conclave will consist of workshops & public manifestations and the ratification of a ‘Declaration of Queer Rights’ which will be drafted by the National Conclave.
The Conclave will climax with the
Pride Parade and Party.
The Conclave Convenor is the Sister Royal, Sister Slash of the Holy Gay Porn.
Sister Slash convened Swancon 2005, the regional science fiction convention, a big budget, four day extravaganza of intellectuals, writers and fans, with two international guests, a dozen Australian guests, and four streams of programming. She is a board member of Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation, overseeing three annual coventions

Swan Bells Tour:

Join the OPI and other visiting interstate OPI members from on a tour of
Perth’s largest phallic symbol at the Swan Bells. Hear the legend of the
(WAAC) Bell of Tolliday told by Sister Mary Jane, join the OPI in the ratifying
of the Declaration of Queer Rights as drafted by the National Conclave of
the (Bloody) Great Southern Land, Perth 2006. All gathered faithful welcome.
Gather at the base of the Swan Bells Tower (shaft)
@ 3 pm. Cost: Entry to the Bell Tower.

Join the Order of Perpetual Indulgence for a sight-seeing tour of Fremantle.
We will embark on a cappuccino crawl, admire the sailors, ride the free
public transport and visit the Fremantle Museum and Arts Centre, (The Small
Shrine to the Holy Loon in Fremantle.) This magnificent neo-gothic building
was constructed by convicts in the 1860s to serve as the colony's first
lunatic asylum.
Meet at the Fremantle Train Station Park @ 2.00 pm.
All gathered faithful welcome.
Cost: The price of a cappuccino!
