Our Aim: To provide a public forum to for like minded gay people and gay sympathetic people to express their views and interests. The NGN is a genuinely independent quarterly publication. Our vision is to present real news about real people as it happens. The OPI GSL are committed to building community and this is expressed by our coverage of events. We are mindful that our publication is designed to provoke thought and encourage public debate on important issues effecting the GLBTIQ Community.
Members of the Gathered Faithful are invited to send in contributions to theconvent@opigsl.org GLBTIQ businesses and community groups are invited to advertise with us. The current policy is to offer free advertising as a service to the community. law reform. What a woman! Come along to the open forum she and Giz
Watson are hosting on Wednesday, August 16 2006. We’d all marry
you, Louise, anytime you want. We’d all share our superannuation schemes
with you, and our old age pensions.
Sister
Mary Jane interviews John Gangell, Co-President of Pride WA,
and admirer of nuns. John talks about his passions, and his desire to party!
He’s going to make Pride shine this year, bigger, more glittery, and more
colourful than ever.
This is a man dedicated to helping Perth shake its Dullsville reputation,
and the Sisters love him for it. Sister Mary Jane tries, he really tries,
to get John to slip us a hint of what’s happening for Pride this year, but
John’s a clever man and gives little away except that he’s planning on wearing
something sexy to each event.
We are too, John! We are too!
As mature nuns, we all love the Perth Primetimers; those lovely women and men, all of a certain age. Nothing gets our sisterly hearts fluttering as much as a man with maturity and passion, or a full-bodied woman. Rowrrr. This is Wally the just retired President. Guy Carter is the new President of Primetimers in Perth.
Even
though it is still Winter, we are of course reminded that the PRIDE Festival
is just round the corner. You will find information about the OPI Pride
Events for 2006. Nana Neil is now a Member of Order of The Bell
of Tolliday, 2nd Class, to celebrate and recognise his life's work
building and supporting GLBTIQ Community.
